Café Bar El Horno de Benito in La Manga

"Pretty flawless spot overall. Very very cozy inside. Very festive for the the Christmas holidays. I could have taken some points off for the pastry as it was not what I was expecting or what I am used to.... but it was pretty good. It was also 6:30pm so I can’t blame them for it not being very fresh out of the oven. They have a VERY cool fish tank for kids and very comfortable and cozy seating areas. This is a great place to do some work, grab a coffee, or have a meeting with someone. The service was outstanding. The waiter greeted us the second we walked in and helped us find a seat. And he took our orders with no rush, but very promptly. He was also very nice and pleasant in manners. The order was exactly correct, and he just went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. You can tell good service when you see and feel it. Sometimes it is hard to come by in Spain. But this place was perfect. Both servers were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. The outside seating also looks very nice. It’s nice to see someone who takes pride in their business here. Winter can be difficult in La Manga, but this place performs in high season and in low season. I would love to see it last!"

"Don't miss out on this hidden treasure. Fabulous food, imaginative menu, an amazing waiter, Gonzalo, who patiently explains the menu in perfect English. The food here easily beats restaurants where we have paid twice as much. Great tapas and I was delighted to see a fantastic veg burger on the menu with goats cheese and avocado, not an easy find in Spain. Hubby opted for a pulled pork topped burger and said it was the best burger he ever had. And the cabalittos starter... the lightest of batters on huge orawns. We will be back."

"Lovely cafe/bakery with nice decor and paintings by local artists on the wall. They have a bakery onsite. Fun and friendly service, we were there for drinks and dessert. Good pricing and we enjoyed our time there, the barista even made latte art in front of us which was fun to watch for my 3 year old."
